Multipurpose Senior Centers (MPCs)
There are sixteen multipurpose senior citizen centers throughout the City of Los Angeles. These centers serve as community focal points for senior services. Services provided at each multipurpose center include:
Information and Assistance designed to provide seniors with information about the different services and programs available, and to link seniors who need assistance to the appropriate services.
In-Home assistance designed to assist frail seniors in maintaining independent living by providing assistance with heavy household tasks, cooking, shopping or light housekeeping, and providing friendly visitors.
Case Management designed to assess the social and health needs of frail seniors, to develop a care plan to meet these needs, and to ensure that the care plan works as designed.

Older Adult Services and Information Systems (OASIS)
OASIS is a recreational program for seniors located in a non-traditional setting or a department store. This program is based on an educational, cultural arts, and informational model. Macy's stores and Department of Aging, and the community agencies listed below work together to offer a variety of activities at these locations:
