City CEQA Guidelines

The "2002 City of Los Angeles Environmental Quality Act Guidelines," provides all agencies of the City of Los Angeles with objectives, criteria and specific procedures for the evaluation of projects and the preparation of environmental documents.

The guidelines were adopted pursuant to the requirements of Section 15050(c) of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA). The guidelines are binding on all City agencies in the implementation of CEQA. The guidelines may be referred to as the "Los Angeles City CEQA Guidelines."
