Presently assigned to the Office of Transportation Safety as the State's Law Enforcement Assistance Fund (LEAF) and Drug Recognition Expert (DRE) Administrator. I manage a total of 53 projects which are under contract with Colorado Department Of Transportation totaling over 1.5 million dollars. Through these contracts and projects I work directly with chiefs, sheriffs and top administrators for political subdivisions within Colorado. I feel comfortable in front of large audiences.

I also serve as the computer workgroup administrator for the office and oversee the proper use of the system for 10 units. I have developed various software programs which aid in the management of assigned tasks. I was instrumental in bring the National DRE Training Conference to Colorado last year. Most recently, I have been on the team which has made "The Heat Is On!" campaign a success.

Experience:
I have been with CDOT for 25 years, starting as a state trooper in 1972. My trooper assignments included the Steamboat Springs post, as the Patrol's public information officer and on the Governor's (Lamm) Executive Security Detail. In July, 1983 I transferred to the Division of Highway Safety as the LEAF Administrator. A year later I took over the duties of the DRE Administrator.

Personal Information:
Married to Lindy for 16 years, no children, a Colorado native. I serve on the City of Littleton's Liquor Licencing Authority.
