You are able to customize your participation in the Drug Recognition Expert List. Below are listed all of the currently available options.
If you ever want to unsubscribe yourself from this mailing list, you can send mail to
with the following command in the body of your email message:
SIGNOFF DRUG-RECOGNITION-L
If you set your delivery option to DIGEST you will receive a compilation of all postings to the list in one large message. It is usually sent at midnight each day. To turn on the DIGEST mode you can send mail to:
with the following command in the body of your email message
SET DRUG-RECOGNITION-L DIGest
You can set your subscription to INDEX. The index will send you a daily message of topics sent to the list. You can then retrieve the individual messages by following the instructions that come along with the index. To turn on the Index mode you can send an email message to:
with the following command in the body of your message
SET DRUG-RECOGNITION-L INDex
If you want to go back to receiving each post individually then send an email message to:
if you are in DIGEST mode put the following command in the body of the message:
SET DRUG-RECOGNITION-L NODIGest
if you are in INDEX mode put the following command in the body of the message:
SET DRUG-RECOGNITION-L NOINDex
If you want to stop receiving messages for a while you can send an email message to:
in the body of the message put the following command:
SET DRUG-RECOGNITION-L NOMail
When you want to start receiving mail again send an email message to:
in the body of the message put the following command
SET DRUG-RECOGNITION-L Mail
To get a directory of available archive files for the list send an email message to:
in the body of the message put the following command
INDex DRUG-RECOGNITION-L
You can then order these files by sending the command
GET DRUG-RECOGNITION-L LOGxxxx
the "xxxx" would be replaced with the file number you are ordering
To see who's on the list you can send an email message to
in the body of the message put the following command
REVIEW DRUG-RECOGNITION-L
If you want to hide your name from the above review option send an email message to:
