The Department sponsors several special
events throughout the year, such as The
Lotus Festival, Salute
to Recreation, Feria
de los Ninos, Year-around Carnivals, and community specific
events for Halloween and Easter, as well as for winter and
summer. Volunteers are needed to assist with various venues,
such as face painting, entertainment, arts and crafts, games,
set-up, clean-up, booth captains, etc…
