For information about curbside recycling, you must provide:
- Nature of Request
- Questions or comments
- Refuse Collection Day
The Process
Residents can do one of the following:
- Call 1-800-773-CITY / 1-800-773-2489
- Residents are asked to place in their blue bin, aluminum, tin and steel cans, glass jars and bottles, and plastic bottles (number 1 or 2),newspapers and all supplements, magazines, brown paper bags, corrugated cardboard boxes, and mixed paper, such as mail, envelopes, dry food boxes, computer paper and phone books.
- Place Blue Bin on curb on regular refuse collection day.
- Reduce and Reuse other items by composting, buying in bulk and giving away items to charities and thrift stores.
How Long Will it Take?
Information about curbside recycling is available twenty four hours a day. Live operators are available Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 4:45 pm.
